This should most likely solve the uTorrent crashing issue, double-check it by downloading a file from uTorrent if the error precedes move to another solution.

Solution 2: Run as admin

If you have allowed the file limited access to download it can lead to uTorrent not responding. Even transmitting of huge data transferring can lead to your account being suspicious. In order for uTorrent to work smoothly you will have to run it as a permanent admin:

If you are using any of the below-mentioned antivirus software click on them to learn how to add uTorrent as an exception.

Solution 4: Disable proxies

Enabling proxy servers has many benefits as it can let users browse privately by hiding their IP address and also boost internet performance. But it can cause apps and websites like uTorrent to not work.

If uTorrent is not working on your device try disabling your proxy servers and see if the issue is solved.

Follow these steps to disable proxy servers:

Solution 5: Deleting app data

The local configuration files on your computer can get corrupted by updates or changes to ‘My Computer’, that can cause a failure to read the data for uTorrent and thus it does, not respond.

In order to clear the corrupt data, you will have to delete the saved data from the application configurations folder. To do so follow these steps:
