Earlier today, Samsung announced that it would be integrating its highly anticipated blockchain wallet that can also be used for buying and selling of cryptocurrencies with the Winklevoss Twins Gemini app.
As per sources close to the matter, individuals who have the Samsung Blockchain Wallet will be eligible to maintain custody of their cryptocurrencies directly on newer models of the electronic giant’s mobile phones.
Through this partnership, Winklevoss Twins owned Gemini is set to become the first US crypto exchange to integrate with Samsung’s wallet.
This deal will also authorize users in Canada and America to connect to Gemini’s app to buy, sell, and trade crypto.
Furthermore, with use of the wallet individuals will easily be able to view their Gemini account balances while also being able to transfer their crypto into cold storage along with Gemini Custody.
Speaking on the announcement, in a statement, the CEO of Gemini, Tyler Winklevoss said,
“Crypto is more than just a technology, it is a movement. Working with Samsung to bring crypto’s promise of independence, greater choice, and opportunity to more individuals around the world is something that we are very proud of.”
