6 Best Fite.TV alternatives and replacements

fite tv

What is Fite.TV?

Fite.TV is a different concept of streaming live sporting events and music events online.

It is a service that has a number of different types of events available on it, some of them are free, and some of them are paid, and users can individually choose which streaming event they would like to watch and pay for it.

It also does a number of different things, such as help distributors find the right target audience for their live events, etc.

All in all, it is a paid streaming service where you are able to watch some boxing games, along with some other sporting events and musical events, as well.

So, why should you look for its alternatives?

Reason to look for sites like Fite.TV

Reason 1 – Limited number of events

Fite.TV does provide users and viewers with sporting events, but most of them are not so popular and quite niche, as well. So, if you are looking for a mega sporting event in boxing, then chances are that you might not be able to see that on Fite.TV.

Reason 2 – Limited sports

When you are using Fite.TV, you are also limited with the sports that you are able to see on it.

There are only a handful of sports that you are able to see on it, and people who are fans of watching a number of different sports at the same time, might also be a little disappointed by it.

Reason 3 – Not a lot of free events to watch

While you are using Fite.TV, there are not a lot of free events that you are able to watch on it. Most of them are paid events, and they all have different prices, somewhere around $60 Dollars to watch.

That is a lot of money for just one particular event to watch, if you are able to get a streaming service that covers most of the popular sporting events, but you only have to pay one subscription fee, then why wouldn’t you choose that instead?

6 best sites like Fite.TV

So, with all that said, here are some of the best Fite.TV alternative that you can try out.

#1 Disney+ Hotstar

Disney-Hotstar

Disney Plus Hotstar is a streaming service that got merged when Disney bought Fox along with all of its assets, as well. It is mostly available in asian countries, and it has a number of sporting events that many people would love to watch on, as well.

Along with that, you are also able to watch other content that is available on this streaming service, making it a great all-in-one package for a family of four or more.

What we liked about Disney+ Hotstar

There are quite a lot of things to like about Disney Plus Hotstar, for starters, you are able to watch some really great sporting events from Cricket, Tennis, F1, etc.

So, sports enthusiasts would be quite happy with it. Along with that you get everything that is available to watch on Disney Plus and Hotstar, as well, so you have a great source for your entertainment, as well.

Above all that, the overall cost of this streaming service is quite inexpensive when compared to something like Fite. TV, and that is always a thing that many people would appreciate.

What we didn’t like about Disney Plus Hotstar

While the overall streaming service is great, there are some cons to it, as well. This combination of Disney Plus and Hotstar is actually not available worldwide. It is limited to certain countries, such as India, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.

So, not every is able to reap the benefits of this collaboration. Along with this, Hotstar is also getting some form of competition in its live sports department, and there are other streaming services that are outbidding it.

Why did we choose Disney Plus Hotstar as a Fite.TV alternative?

The main reason for the suggestion of using Disney Plus Hotstar as an alternative to Fite.TV is because the streaming does provide you with watching great sporting events, along with all the other contents that are already on offer.

The subscription charges of Disney Plus Hotstar is also considerably lower than what you have to individually pay for streaming a particular sporting event, as well.

If you have used Disney+ then there are very good disney plus alternatives you can check out

Review and rating of Disney Plus Hotstar

Disney Plus Hotstar is a streaming service that is quite popular in asian countries and it does provide users with some really great content to watch on it, as well.

It is one of the few streaming services that has incorporated live sports in it, to be more appealing to a wider target audience, and while some of its live sporting events are not available anymore, the ones that are, are pretty good.

I will rate Disney Plus Hotstar 3.5/5 stars.

#2 Now TV

NOW-TV

Now TV is also a streaming service that you can try out for watching events, along with some other forms of entertainment, as well.

It is owned by Sky TV, which is a very huge and popular broadcasting company, and when you are using Now TV you are  given the option of passes for sports, entertainment, and others.

These passes are monthly and daily, and you can easily stop them, whenever you feel like. There is quite a lot more to discuss about Now TV.

What we liked about Now TV

Since Sky Sports is a huge division of sports in Europe, you are able to access all of that on Now TV by simply purchasing the sports package for 35 Pounds, and that is still quite inexpensive compared to purchasing one single event for $60 Dollars.

So, you are able to watch a number of sporting events, for that particular month or for a particular day at an even cheaper cost, and you don’t have to pay any recurring fees, as well.

Plus, if you want, you can also sign up for its entertainment passes and watch movies and tv shows, as well.

What we didn’t like about Now TV

Now TV does have some cons to it, as well. For example, the service is also limited in only certain countries, so viewers who are not residing in Europe or US, will have to use a VPN to use this service.

Along with that, there are some tricks that Now TV pulls that feel like a bit too greedy. Now TV has a Boost plan that allows you to watch all the sporting events in Full HD and without any ads.

When you are subscribing to its monthly plan, you get seven days of free Boost plan, after that it costs 6 Pounds extra.

If you don’t want to pay for the Boost plan, you will be able to watch games on only one device at 720p with ads.

Why did we choose Now TV as a Fite.TV alternative?

Now TV, while it may have its tricks for gaining a little bit more money from you, it is still a better alternative to Fite.TV. Over here, you are easily able to watch a number of different sporting events that are all quite popular.

Along with that, the overall money that you are spending on watching these games is quite inexpensive compared to purchasing to watch a single sporting event on Fite.TV.

Plus, you are easily able to watch a lot on Now TV, compared that to Fite.TV, and that is one of the main reasons for suggesting it, as well.

Review and rating of Now TV

Now TV is a popular way of watching sporting events online. While the overall streaming service cost is a bit expensive compared to all the other alternatives that are listed in this article, it is still a good deal when you compare it to Fite. TV.

If you are living in Europe, then I feel, this is the best possible option that you can try out for watching your favourite sporting events on your favourite device.

For that reason, I will rate Now TV 3/5 stars.

#3 Yupp TV

YuppTV

Yupp TV is also a streaming service that is available to use online for watching mostly Indian channels in other countries, and it also features some sporting channels that allow users to watch Cricket and other sporting events.

It is not a big brand in the world of streaming, but you are able to watch a lot of different shows on it, as well. There’s much more to discuss about Yupp TV, as well.

What we liked about Yupp TV

Yupp TV has a fairly similar subscription rate as you might seem from other premium streaming services, around $10/month, and at the price amount you are able to watch a lot of things on it, especially if you are an Indian sports fan.

Yupp TV is also available to use on multiple different devices, and you can also use its service for free if you are willing to watch through some of the ads that are available on it.

What we didn’t like about Yupp TV

Yupp TV does not have a huge sports category as you would find on something like Now TV, or even some alternatives that I have listed down below, and the overall look and design of the streaming platform aren’t all that great, as well.

One of the more significant sporting options that you will be able to see on Yupp TV would be cricket, and that is something that you don’t get to see much often in countries like the US, etc., so non-cricket fans might be a little disappointed with this streaming platform.

Why did we choose Yupp TV as a Fite.TV alternative?

The reasons I mentioned for looking at some of the alternatives to Fite.TV may be in line with Yupp TV, as well. However, Yupp TV has the advantage of a lower paying subscription model and that is something that you can’t say about the previews of Fite.TV.

Along with this, even though there are a limited number of sports that are available to watch on Yupp TV, you are still able to watch some sporting events, like Cricket, which you cannot view on Fite.TV, especially for the price.

Review and rating of Yupp TV

Yupp TV is a moderate streaming service that is more about tv shows and less about sports. But, it still has a sporting channels that do stream popular sporting events from time to time.

However, the overall service costs a little too much for what you are getting from it, and for that reason, I will rate Yupp TV 2.5/5 stars.

#4 ESPN Plus

espn

ESPN Plus might be the best replacement to Fite.TV present in the market right now. While you do have streaming services that incorporate sports to target a much wider audience, ESPN Plus is a streaming service that only targets sports enthusiasts.

Over at this streaming service, you are able to watch all sorts of different sporting events that ESPN has the rights to stream, and since ESPN is such a big name in the world of sports, you are able to watch a lot of different events on it, as well.

What we liked about ESPN Plus

ESPN Plus has many different things to like about it. For starters, the platform is designed specially just for sports and nothing else, so everything you watch on it is about sports.

It also produces original content, that you would not see any other sports-related streaming service do.

Along with that comes its cost, the entire package comes at a $10/month price tag, and that is six times less than what you have to pay per event on Fite.TV.

What we didn’t like about ESPN Plus

There are some negatives about ESPN Plus, as well. For starters, the entire platform is not available to use worldwide and it is only limited to using in the States and some other countries.

You are able to watch a lot of different sporting events on it, but if you are looking to watch for a pay-per-view UFC fight then you have to pay an extra $79.99 per event, so not all UFC live events are covered under its subscription rate.

Why did we choose ESPN Plus as a Fite.TV alternative?

ESPN Plus has a lot going for it that you don’t have for Fite.TV. ESPN Plus is a sports streaming service from the ground up, and there are a lot of different sporting events that are covered with no additional charges in it.

Along with that, the overall user experience of ESPN Plus is far better than Fite.TV because ESPN has been in the sports broadcasting business for a really long time and it knows the type of content that its audience needs.

Review and rating of ESPN Plus

ESPN Plus has lots of positives but some negatives, as well. The streaming service is dedicated to sports lovers and if you are one, then you should definitely sign up for it.

The subscription rate of the streaming service is pretty balanced compared to other services that stream different sporting events online.

As I said above, this might be the best alternative to Fite.TV because of everything that is being offered to you to watch, and for that reason, I will rate ESPN Plus 4/5 stars.

#5 Sling TV

Sling TV

Sling TV is also a streaming service over where you are able to watch live channels on all your favourite devices and mediums. It is basically what Yupp TV does but for American audiences with American channels.

You are easily able to watch 41 live tv channels on it, and they include the likes of Fox Sports and ESPN, as well, so you are pretty much set with any sporting event that you would like to watch because those two channels are big names in the world of sports.

What we liked about Sling TV

Sling TV is an option that many people are tempted to use who are looking forward to cut down their cable connection and are looking to switch to streaming without having to compromise on live tv channels.

The overall usage of Sling TV is also pretty simple as it is available to use on multiple different devices, and the packages aren’t all that complicated, as well.

What we didn’t like about Sling TV

Sling TV, just like most of the alternatives that I mentioned on this list, has one big flaw and it is that it is not available to use worldwide. It is currently only available in the US, and some neighbouring countries.

Along with this, the availability of FOX sports network on your Sling TV connection does depend on your pin code, as well, so you might want to check that out before you are considering of shifting towards it.

Why did we choose Sling TV as a Fite.TV alternative?

Sling TV and Fite.TV aren’t exactly two opposing alternatives as they are more like two different options for you to pick.

While you have to individually pay for a particular service to watch on Fite.TV, you are easily able to watch from all the live tv channels that are available on Sling TV and that does include sports and music channels, as well.

So, you are able to watch the event that you like the most on your preferred mode of watching.

Review and rating of Sling TV

Sling TV, as I mentioned above, is a really good option for you to try out if you are looking to cut your cable tv connection and are looking to move towards streaming.

The overall great thing about this service is that it is fairly inexpensive when it comes to watching live tv channels because as we all know that live cable TV is quite expensive to watch and stream.

So, if you are staying in the US, this could be a really good option for you to try out. I will rate Sling TV 3.5/5 stars.

#6 Kayo

kayo

Kayo is also a sports-centric streaming service that is available to use in Australia and it has a number of different sporting events on it that are played worldwide.

There are a number of different sporting channels available to use on Kayo, and there is a whole lot more to discuss about it, as well.

What we liked about Kayo

Kayo has a very attractive offer when it comes to streaming sports online because you get access to top sports channels on all of its plans, which include, ESPN, beIN Sports, Fox Sports, etc.

Along with this, as I mentioned, all the plans of Kayo feature these sporting channels, so the main difference between each plan is the number of devices on which you can stream the sports simultaneously.

What we didn’t like about Kayo

The only thing I am not a big fan of is that Kayo is available only to use in Australia, and this is done on purpose because sports streaming is a hugely lucrative business, and companies all across the world want to get their hands on it.

So instead of just one company dominating the entire sports streaming business, different countries have their own big player who is streaming for them, you just need to find one that is available in your country.

Why did we choose Kayo as a Fite.TV alternative?

Kayo is definitely a great alternative to Fite.TV because you are able to watch a number of different sporting events all for the cost of one subscription rate, as well.

Along with this, since it is streaming the live games from sports channels, rather than pay-per-view, you might not also have to pay anything extra, as well.

Review and rating of Kayo

Kayo is a streaming service for sports enthusiasts in Australia and people of Australia do use this service quite a lot, actually.

You are easily able to watch a number of different sporting events on it, and if you are living in Australia, this can be a good option for you, as well.

I will rate Kayo 3.5/5 stars.
