Top 5 Paid Tennis Live Streaming Platforms

tennis

There are a number of different articles that I have written for this website regarding free sports streaming websites, and in those websites you are easily able to watch a ton of different sports, that include tennis, as well.

I have also written articles where I discuss some of the paid subscription models, when it comes to streaming these matches, as there have been a good amount of streaming companies that have started to put live sports in their overall library of content.

So, this article is actually a mix of both, where I will be discussing ways where you can watch tennis matches on paid streaming services, and tell you how much exactly you have to pay and other features, as well.

HULU With Live TV

hulu

Starting off this list, we have Hulu with Live TV. Hulu with Live TV is a really interesting offering that Hulu had started back in 2017, which is not that long ago, and since then, it has become the company’s main bread and butter, as well.

What it provides is exactly what it sounds like. In this subscription you are able to get everything from Hulu, with 80+ Live Tv channels, and along with them, you also get Disney Plus and ESPN Plus, as well.

Plus, Hulu also offers one play, where it just offers users its live tv channels and nothing else, no Hulu, no Disney Plus and no ESPN plus, as well. So, basically cable, with features of Hulu.

What are the things we liked about Hulu with Live TV?

Hulu does bring in a good value for money option when it comes to its live TV plan. The overall plan starts from $69.99/month and goes up to $82.99/month, plus with the option of adding up various add-ons to the plan, as well.

So, if you are a fan of Disney Plus and ESPN Plus, which is also a paid streaming service that provides everything related to sports and more, then you are getting that attached ‘freely’ onto the service, as well.

Plus, over here, you are able to get unlimited screens options, unlimited DVR recording and many more other features, as well.

What are the things we didn’t like about Hulu with Live TV?

When it comes to the overall things that I am not a particular fan of is that Hulu doesn’t have a long list of cable tv channels that some of its competitors might have, so people who are looking to cut their cable might have to look into it.

The overall price is very similar to what users used to pay for cable, so it is not like they are saving a ton of money with switching over to this service, as well.

Along with all of this, Hulu has a very confusing plan for their live tv, in terms of its subscriptions and it is not as straightforward and direct as its competitors, which will also drive some customers away.

Why did we choose Hulu with Live TV for Paid Tennis Live Streaming

While the overall service of Hulu is actually mostly related to TVs and other sorts of entertainment, with live tv, you are able to watch channels that stream all the famous tennis sporting events that are played throughout the year.

Plus, the application of Hulu is currently available in all of the viewing devices, so in terms of compatibility, there is not issue on Hulu’s end. So, you can easily stream the channels as a paid live TV service.

Our review and rating on Hulu with Live TV

Hulu with Live TV is a fairly decent option when it comes to streaming live tv channels, and Hulu is a service that has been around for a while now, and the overall value proposition of Hulu is actually pretty decent, as well.

However, there are some cons to it too, and if you are okay with that, then you can easily try it out and see whether you like it or not. I will rate Hulu with Live TV 3.5/5 stars.

Fubo TV

fubotv

Fubo TV is a direct cable tv service that is available only in the US, just like most of the other alternatives that are mentioned on this list, and it is a service that only shows live tv channels in a platform of a streaming service.

Fubo TV gives users the ability to watch almost 200 + channels on its platform, and it does provide users many of the functionalities that people might come to expect from their cable tv connection, including the price, as well.

What are the things we liked about Fubo TV?

Fubo TV has three different price points, ranging from Pro, Elite and Ultimate, so straight away it is much simpler than what Hulu has to offer to its users for its live tv plans, including its normal streaming plans, as well.

Along with this, the service also offers users with more than 200 channels, that include prime-time sports channels, so you can easily stream various tennis games on them, without having to worry about anything.

Plus, Fubo TV does offer its users with offers, such as 4K sports channels, unlimited simultaneous screen and 1000 hrs of DVR Recording, so it does give its users with premium features, as well.

What are the things we didn’t like about Fubo TV?

The main thing that I am particularly not a big fan of is that the service is not cheap at all to access, as I mentioned above, it costs nearly the same as what many users used to pay for their cable service.

The starting plan of Fubo TV goes from $74.99, and its Ultimate plan costs around $100/months, which is quite a lot for any ‘streaming service’, per see.

Along with this, the service does not have the smoothest UI that you might expect from something like YouTube TV or even Hulu, for that matter.

Why did we choose Fubo TV for Paid Tennis Live Streaming

The main reason for providing Fubo TV as the best option for paid tennis live streaming is because it does provide its users with a good amount of channels that actually have the rights to broadcasting tennis games.

So, you can easily stream those games from the selected devices that are compatible with Fubo TV, and that can be a great thing because you are able to watch in 4K, without any add-ons.

Our review and rating on Fubo TV

Fubo TV is a good option when it comes to streaming sports and other channels on its platform, but the overall price of its subscription is very high compared to all the other alternatives and options that I have mentioned in this list.

So, if you are okay with the base pack of Fubo TV being around $75/month and the Ultimate pack being around $100/month, then you should try it out for streaming tennis games on its service.

I will rate Fubo TV 3/5 stars.

Sling TV

Sling TV

The overall service of Sling TV is something that I have liked in the past quite a lot of times and that is because Sling TV is a relatively good option when it comes to bringing cable tv connection on an affordable price point as a streaming service.

Sling offers its users with a good range of channels that should please most of the audience who are looking to cut their cable tv connection, but also continue to watch it with the convenience of streaming and at a lower price.

What are the things we liked about Sling TV?.

The main thing that I appreciate the most about Sling TV is the fact that the streaming service is the cheapest among all the other options that I have listed in this article, except for one service.

Sling TV comes with three plans, Orange, Blue, and Orange plus Blue. Orange and Blue packs consist of 40 – 35 channels and they both cost $40/month, each.

If you choose the Orange plus Blue pack, then you are getting all the channels that are available on both the plans, and you are getting the service for $55/month.

Plus, over at Sling TV, you get some regular features that you might expect from other cable tv services, such as DVR recording, simultaneous watching, etc.

What are the things we didn’t like about Sling TV?

While there are a good amount of things to be liked about Sling TV, there are also certain things that they had to sort of compromise on, in order to get to the price point in which they are currently operating at.

Sling TV offers only 50 hrs of DVR recording space that can be maxed out to 200 hrs with some additional add-ons, so that is already something that might not be preferred by a lot of people.

Plus, the overall service is also a little niche, compared to its rivals that provide users with watching cable tv as a streaming, so not a lot of people end up using it, because of its small library of channels.

Why did we choose Sling TV for Paid Tennis Live Streaming

Regardless of whichever pack you choose to pick on Sling TV, you will have access to channels like ESPN and FS1 and more, and these are mostly the channels which broadcast tennis matches on their channels.

Along with this, the overall cost of the service is very low when you compare it to the likes of Fubo TV and even Direct Tv, which is even more expensive than all the other options that I have mentioned on this list.

Our review and rating on Sling TV

Sling TV’s main agenda is to deliver popular channels in a fairly affordable price point, and they have been able to deliver on that matter, but to get to that price point they had to cut some corners which might not be appreciated by some people.

Still, when it comes to watching sports channels for the price of half that you pay on other streaming service, I still think that it is a really good option and I will rate Sling TV 4/5 stars.

YouTube TV

youtube

YouTube TV is another big player in the world of streaming that allows users to stream live tv channels on various different devices, and it has been crowned as the best cable-streaming setup amongst all the other competition.

YouTube TV, for those of you who don’t know about it, is a service that is provided by YouTube in the US that has access to more than 100 different premium channels, all with the functionality of watching that are offered on regular YouTube application.

What are the things we liked about YouTube TV?

YouTube TV gets its subscription price fairly straight, that means, that it only has only one pricing plan in which it offers all the channels that it has to show to its customers.

The overall price of the service is $74.99/month, but new customers are able to get it for $55/month for the first three months. YouTube TV does deliver on the overall list of features, especially in the sports department by providing things like, Key Pays view, Stats View and even Fantasy Football view, too!

Among all the other things, you also get unlimited DVR recording on YouTube TV, which shouldn’t be very surprising considering the fact that the service is actually coming from the same company that lets you upload an unlimited number of videos for free.

What are the things we didn’t like about YouTube TV?

YouTube TV isn’t all that perfect and that is because, while you are able to watch a lot of things for one price point and watch it on various different devices that are compatible with the service, you still have to pay more to get some extra features.

For example, if you are looking to watch your tennis games in 4K, then you would have to shell extra $20 Dollars to get 4K channels, which puts it up with Fubo TV’s ultimate plan.

Along with this, YouTube TV also boasts about providing local news channels on its platform with the help of your ZIP code, but those channels don’t often work, as reported by many customers.

Why did we choose YouTube TV for Paid Tennis Live Streaming

If you are looking to stream your favourite Tennis events, then YouTube TV does become a really good option because the platform is very compatible with a lot of different viewing devices.

Along with this, you are also able to watch the games for a price that is fairly reasonable, as long as you are not looking for an add-on like 4K channels or more, so that is a disadvantage on its side.

Our review and rating on YouTube TV

YouTube is a good option for a lot of cable cutters as it does provide them with one plan that features a good amount of premium tv channels and with the overall compatibility that you can get from something like YouTube.

Still, I don’t find it a perfect solution because the service does falter in certain places and for that reason, I will rate it 3.5/5 stars.

Peacock TV

peacock tv

Last on this list is Peacock TV, this streaming service is mostly an entertainment streaming service but it also offers a great deal of live tv channels that are owned and operated by NBC, including NBC Sports.

NBC sports is also one of the services that has access to a good amount of tennis events that are played throughout the year, and you are easily able to watch them on a service that is the cheapest among the entire bunch.

What we liked about Peacock TV

The great thing about Peacock TV is the fact that the service does work as an all rounder, in terms of entertainment, sports, and price, as well. Peacock TV starts at $5/month and its max plan goes at $10/month!

It is basically one third the price of the cheapest subscription of this list, and it delivers on things, such as 4K content, sports channel, and up to 80,000 hrs worth of viewing content, so that is a lot, for one service.

Along with this, Peacock TV is also available not just in the US, but also in some European countries, as well, so in that department also it does perform pretty well.

What we didn’t like about Peacock TV

While there are definitely things to love about Peacock TV, it is not all that perfect, as well.

The one sports channel that is available on it is NBC Sports, and nothing else, and as broadcasting rights are always given to the highest bidders, if your favourite tennis sporting event is not available on NBC Sports, then you won’t be able to watch it on Peacock.

Along with this, the overall library of Peacock TV, while it is a good library, it is not competing with the likes of something like Hulu or some other streaming services, as well.

Why did we choose Peacock TV for Paid Tennis Live Streaming?

Even though it has some cons to the list, there are still a good amount of pros when it comes to Peacock TV, especially for choosing it as a service where you might be able to watch live tv channels for a cost-effective price.

Plus, Peacock TV offers you some great features, such as 4K resolution, and more, so that is also something that you don’t have to pay anything extra for.

Review and rating of Peacock TV

Peacock TV definitely is a paid live streaming service that happens to also have NBC sports and other live tv channels run on by NBC, without any extra cost.

In terms of pricing it is by far the best in the category because it does offer quite a lot, for fairly less, especially when all the other options mentioned in this list range from $30 – $100/month.

Still, as a streaming service, Peacock TV definitely has a lot more to achieve, in terms of its Original content, but for watching tennis games, it is a good option and I will rate it 3.5/5 stars.

Conclusion

Well, there you have it. An article discussing some of the best paid tennis live streaming services that are currently available to consumers. Usually, at the end of these articles I provide users with my own personal choice among all the options that I have listed.

However, for this subject, it is not that simple, and if I had to choose, I would probably not choose any of them, to be frank.

The main reason for that being is that all five of the options that are mentioned in the list vary quite a lot from one another, in terms of the overall viewing experience, as well as the overall price of the service, as well.

Hulu is nothing like YouTube TV, Peacock TV is nothing like Sling TV or Fubo TV, and so on and so forth. All the services that are mentioned above end up targeting different groups of people.

The main common element among the four of them is the fact that they all are running sports channels that have the broadcasting rights to the popular tennis sporting events that are played across the year.

Still, the best way to choose is by yourself and testing out which one suits your budget and your needs.

As always, these have been my thoughts on this topic. What about you? Do you agree with my list? Or do you think that I missed out on some other options for paid streaming services that stream tennis games?

And which service would you choose amongst all of the above-mentioned options?

Whatever your thoughts are, do let us know about them in the comments down below!
