Cardcaptor Sakura was a show that I used to watch with my sister when I was a kid and the show actually set the way that magical girl anime would be seen for a while.
The main story of the show deals with an elementary-school fourth-grader whose name is Sakura and it follows her adventure to collect back a set of magical cards that she accidentally released into the world.
Sakura is a beloved character and it has been a well-known series from the 90’s. You can watch it now on Netflix.

Children of the Whales is a series that discusses a post-apocalyptic, global desert world where a few numbers of survivors are living in a city called the Mud Whale.
